Cookie policy

The short version
We don’t use cookies to track you, profile you or show you adverts — so you won’t see a cookie banner here. Our analytics are cookie-free. The only cookies that may appear are strictly necessary security cookies set by our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. The law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, or PECR) says websites must ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies, but not for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for or to keep it secure.
Analytics without cookies
We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not set cookies, does not use local storage, does not fingerprint your device and does not follow you around the web. It simply counts page views and similar aggregated statistics. We do not use Google Analytics.
Strictly necessary cookies
Cloudflare protects this website from bots, spam and attacks. To do that it may set the following cookies. They contain no information that identifies you, are not used for tracking or marketing, and the site cannot work securely without them, so they don’t need your consent.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tells people and good bots apart from malicious bots | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Remembers that you passed a security check, so you aren’t asked again | 30 minutes by default |
cf_chl_* | Cloudflare | Used briefly while a security check or Turnstile spam check on our forms runs | Session |
Whether these appear depends on Cloudflare’s automated security checks, so you may see none at all. Read more inCloudflare’s cookie policy.
No marketing or social media cookies
We don’t embed social media feeds, video players or maps that set third-party cookies. Links to our Facebook, Instagram and Google pages are plain links; those sites only set their own cookies if you choose to visit them.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block Cloudflare’s security cookies you may occasionally be asked to complete a security check. Find out how in the help pages forChrome,Safari,Firefox andEdge.
