Privacy policy

Last updated 31 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Visca Doors Ltd collects when you use viscadoors.co.uk or get in touch with us, why we need it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep it short and in plain English.

Who we are

Visca Doors Ltd (“Visca Doors”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 13273218, with our registered office at Unit 3J Barlow Way, Rainham, Essex RM13 8BT.

You can contact us about privacy at info@viscadoors.co.uk, by phone on 0207 183 4166or by post at the address above.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or repair request

Our quote and repair forms ask for:

  • your name, email address and (optionally, or required for repairs) phone number;
  • your postcode, the type of property and the product or service you’re interested in, if you choose to tell us;
  • anything you write in the message box, such as sizes, the fault or your timescales.

The form also contains anti-spam checks. If we have switched on Cloudflare Turnstile, it runs a quick, privacy-friendly check in your browser to confirm you are a person rather than a bot.

When you call or email us

We keep the details you give us, such as your contact information, notes of the conversation and any photos you send of the job.

When you browse the website

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are popular. It is cookie-free, does not track you across websites and does not build a profile of you. It records aggregated information such as page views, the referring website, browser type and approximate country.

Like any web server, our hosting provider Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages to you and protect the site from attacks. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with trusted providers who help us run the business, under contracts that protect it:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, security, form processing, sending form emails and cookie-free analytics;
  • Microsoft — our business email (Microsoft 365), where enquiries are delivered and stored;
  • approved subcontractors, only where they carry out work for you outside our own coverage area, and only the details they need;
  • our accountants, insurers or professional advisers where necessary, and authorities if the law requires it.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK–US data bridge.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to 2 years, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us.
  • Customer and job records: 6 years after the work, as required for tax and accounting and to support guarantees.
  • Website analytics are aggregated and contain no information that identifies you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
  • object to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests;
  • ask us to transfer information you gave us to another organisation.
